Cleaning Guide & Tips

  • 1. Dissemble the pot planter

    Carefully remove the plant with soil and separate all removable components (eg. tray inserts) for thorough cleaning. This will allow you to clean each part or the planter more effectively.

  • 2. Empty the Reservoir

    Drain any standing water in the reservoir. Make sure there is no stagnant water left, as it can lead to mold or algae buildup. To do so, tilt the pot on its side to allow excess water to drain from the fillable plug.

  • 3.Clean the Planter Thoroughly

    Start by using a garden hose or a spray bottle with water to rinse off any dust, dirt, or debris. After cleaning with soap and water, rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water to remove any soap residue. Check the drainage holes or any small openings in the planter for clogs

  • 4. Dry with Cloth and Reassemble

    Use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe down the outside of the planter. If needed, use a mild cleaner that’s safe for plastic or the material your planter is made from. Dry it off with a clean towel. Once all parts are dry, reassemble the planter, refill the water reservoir, and add your plants.
